I wonder is this lady would have been so violent and unreasonable if she hadn't been in possession of a gun.
 
There's a detail you guys seem to be overlooking. She wasn't alone. The man answered the door, nor her. The police were in the middle of harassing or arresting the male for having a gun in his own home. She came to his defense, and was murdered. I do agree with Simius, though, that pointing a firearm at a cop is "a bit" batshit insane. You point a gun at someone, you'd better be pulling the trigger.

The point is, citizens are right to be wary of people claiming to be with the census, and even if they show credentials, it doesn't mean you should let your guard down. If someone doesn't fill out the form to the government's unconstitutional satisfaction, just let it be.

Perhaps those cops that gunned down that woman in her home will get a nice medal for their bravery, defending their trespassing asses from a legally armed soveriegn citizen.
 
I agree, the woman is batshit crazy (er, well WAS), for refusing to put down the shotgun after being told to put the gun down after she pointed it at them.

Telemarketers aren't allowed to call after 8PM, not sure why census workers should be allowed to come so late.
