analysts: Reids plan saves more than Boners

So that 20 straight years of voting in a Democratic Congress and President from 1932 to 1952 was a sign of how unpopular the new deal was? (the only pause being 1946-1948 when Truman cracked down on unions)

You mean after he said he would remove the corabat brigades but keep some security personnel there?

OH MY GOD! PEOPLE ARE SHOOTING AT SECURITY PERSONNEL THE PRESIDENT EXPLICITLY SAID HE WOULD HAVE THERE.

That promise breaking motherfucker.

If I don't have to defend everything WW did, why do I have to defend Congress's declaration of war and WW's ordering troops to France?

You can't arbitrarily say as soon as a soldier takes fire, he's in corabat in a war but then refuse to discuss the millions of times soldiers have taken fire and it wasn't a war

Again this isn't ronpaulforums where you just change the definitions of worRAB when it suits you and never have to defend anything you write

Bargaining power? Who the fuck cares about that...

I care about the quality of life for the workers, which would be greatly improved by limiting the franchise.

the giant 1993 war in Somalia between the warlorRAB and UN peacekeepers

Those Pakistanis picking on innocent Somalians

Again, more troops die in training operations in peacetime than in the non-corabat roles in Iraq

the other reason liberals stop caring about gitmo is because obama isn't sending new people there, he is just killing them on the spot.

Saying something wouldn't last is a valid argument

If Ralph Nader ran in 2012 on giving everyone a $40,000 tax credit, it'd be really awesome but it wouldn't last, and I think it would be valid to point that out

Also, top 30% is still way too low

That gets into the territory of two parents working and making only $15 an hour, way too many federal benefits to give up

On what spectrum could you possibly put a white supremacist and racist with the man who pushed through the Civil Rights Act on the exact same point?

I might as well say Obama and Jefferson are both Democrats, with the same philosophy and Obama must defend everything Jefferson did, including owning slaves

The Kosovo air strikes were pretty much paid for by Defense budgeting changes, Libya has cost very little as our allies are doing the legwork

However, both Obama and Clinton are centrists and not modern leftists
