An Islamic Extremist bombs Exeter....Why is there next to no news coverage?

There was like a 30 second piece on the main news, and its only just made the front page of the bbc news website this morning....

I know he probably doesn't have links with Al Quaeda, at least directly, and noone was hurt or injured except himself, but this has the potentional to have killed some people, as the bomb didnt go off properly.....if this had happened in London it would have been the main story!!! Do you think they didn't say much in order to keep this story as quiet as possible?? or is the whole bombing thing becoming almost acceptable' ie. people just dont really care, its just ANOTHER bomb, and at that an unsuccessful one....

Maybe im just more interested because i live near Exeter....i dunno

you say its a mole hill, but bugger all happens in Devon, this is big news here lol! i bet the police here had been DYING to use their bomb disposal kits!! its like the event of the decade here! I just think it deserved slightly more coverage that it got....just a tad more lol
 
You should get a job with Fox news in America, they have raised the notion of making mountains out of molehills to a fine art, as for your question, it was probably because it was of little importance and of no consequence. The guy was an out and out nutter, and to make something out of it would only encourage other nutters who want 5 minutes of fame, or rather, notoriety, what do you want, you said it yourself, no one was hurt, so what exactly is there to tell.
 
What Maxi said is 100% right, they just added converted to islam so it has more effect.

Plus he may be stirring up a race war and because he failed so he is adding that he is mental and a recent convert to islam.

Have you lot already forgotten about a BNP member that was about to blow up a area in London (i think) because he wanted to start a race war. check it out yourselfs. if you dont belive me
