Im not sure where to put this question so Ive put it in a few different places so I can get lots of answers, hopefully. So dont tell me that Ive got it in the wrong section or that Ive asked this a lot, I know .
Last night I was upstairs, in bed reading. Everyone else was asleep.
It was around 3am, then this MASSIVE thud from downstairs frightened the crap out of me!! It sounded like someone lifted up our huge sofa and dropped it again!!!
I was shaking for ages but there was no noise after that.
This morning, I was the first up.I turned on all the lights, went into the sitting room and the sofa was perfect, nothing changed. I went into the kitchen and I picked up the kettle...and it was HOT, like the body of it! As if somebody had just made tea or something!!
But I would've heard the kettle because before I got up I was reading in bed for about 15 minutes. And there was no way somebody got up before me...it's just creepy. Oh and there was no water in the kettle either :/.....
Explain please, anyone!!??
