An authors opnion...?

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean that it's what the author thinks of a particular subject and writes perhaps in a biased or prejudiced way? It could be his thinking in an editorial or an essay. It also could be his thinking as written from a character's Point of View.
 
It's he opinion of an author. What an author thinks of something. I feel like there's more to this question than just what I'm being given. What is this in relation to?
