An attorney claims that he is a member of the Supreme Court of the State of Florida. Does this mean he is a well qualified attorney? Is this "membership" easy to get? As far as I understand he is not a judge or justice, but a "member". What does this mean? And where can you check who is a member and who is not? He doesn't have any diccipline history for 10 years.

The only "members" of the Supreme Court are the justices themselves.
Defendants in criminal proceedings are entitled by the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) to have counsel appointed at government expense if they are financially unable to obtain adequate representation by private counsel. Counsel assigned to a defendant may be a private lawyer, who is a member of the court's panel of attorneys receiving CJA appointments.
Perhaps this is what this attorney is referring to, although it certainly seems misleading.
