An animated version of Garth Ennis' the Pro?

I heard from the site that cannot be named that an animated version of Garth Ennis' the Pro was in the works. Now there's a concept not suitible for kids, like eveything Garth Ennis has ever done.

I will pay good money to own this on DVD, should it ever happen. A fun comic that had me laughing my ass off the first time I read it, and I hadn't experienced a speck of the Justice League at the time (not that you need to--it specifically targets JL, but makes fun of superhero comics in general too).

I wish they'd make more North American cartoons for adults, shows or movies, I'm not picky. As it is right now, there're maybe two every decade and aside from those we have the option of trying out often poorly plotted or at least poorly dubbed Japanese imports.

For adults, specifically though. As in, The Pro-style adult, or HBO's Spawn, or Aeon Flux. I liked Superman: Doomsday and Justice League: New Frontier a lot (and two of the first four DTVs that Marvel put out), but they aren't adult just because they have a bit more blood and more amped up violence than the Batman and Superman TV shows. The dialogue could be more grown up sometimes too in these projects, though Doomsday and New Frontier did fine in that regard.

I understand they're trying to appeal to a diversity of ages (you can still show your 9 year old Doomsday, it's just that it was made PG-13 style to appeal to teens and adults too), but throw the adults-only crowd a bone once in a while.
