I would say aliens! Were all humans and readers will most likely be a human. So the reader depending on who he/she is will have some kind of vague or even immense knowledge on how humans think. It's much more interesting to learn how someone else is thinking that is different from themselves so write alien perspective! But make their minds somewhat human like so that the reader can understand feelings the new being may have.
