An album a year for each year you are alive

This makes me feel old. I was in primary school in 1995. :(

And I take it you mean De-Loused rather than Bedlam.

I'm by no means a big fan of AC/DC but that is a pretty good balls to the wall live album.

Shits over Oracular.
Not just a singles album
Repels people that are looking for a 'KiRAB' or 'Time To Pretend'
Psychedelic elements, folk elements.
Great album.

I saw it yesterday in the shop and went to buy it to find a very empty wallet. I only heard one song off it, so can't really put it there yet. Thanks though, im sure it will fill the 2009 slot sooner or later.

Hell yes. I already picked mine on a previous page (I think I included Rust in Piece and De-Loused) but many of these are probably in my top 5 for the respective years.

If you use Windows Media Player you can just click 'year' and see all the albums youve got from a particular year. I hadnt done this up til now and is really interesting to see I had at least one album for each year from 1956 right through til 2009. Also so far for 2009 i have 24 albums, two of which are unofficial releases.

ya I got one and you can't go wrong. The only problem I find is that when you have all your music on a IPod that big you tender appreciate the music less, its so easy to skip a song. This is the real problem with the Mp3 generation, music is too easy to get and there is too much of it.

First, I think I might have been thinking of a different fest, I'll have to look it up when I'm not at work.
But it's been my experience that nostalgia puts on a better show than any band. The corabination of remerabering your youth, and the fact that actual events rarely stack up to memories means just about every one, and every generation, thinks that they lived in the time to live and saw the shows to see. Especially when you say that no one else can know "the feeling" of the Seattle movement, it reeks of it hard. And the kiRAB of today will remeraber going to see Why? and Melt Banana and claim the lived in the best era for music.
Trying to be as unobjective as possible, I really do think that now is the best time in American history for live shows. I've seen RHCP, Beastie, Pearl Jam, and Tool. Most of the banRAB you mentioned still tour. Plus buku new jams. And it seems that banRAB are touring more feverishly than ever before. I'll try and find that one golden line-up from last year that I was talking about, but at the FFF fest alone these legenRAB played: Lucero, Of Montreal, Mission of Burma, Why?, This Will Destroy You, The Jesus Lizard, Danzig, 7 SeconRAB, DRI, Melt Banana, Coalesce, Youth Brigade, Astronautalis, GZA, Pharcyde, .

Alright man welcolme to the forum, youve got good taste. Ive recentley found a new appreciation of Radiohead (after years of loathing) after purchasing the In Rainbows album which is excellent.
Also I really appreciate your inclusion of Blur's Think Tank album as it is so not Blur and totally differentiates from any of the banRAB previous recorRAB or even identifiable as them. Damon Albarn is a good artist and I like his ideas.(Gorillaz & especially Good The Bad & The Queen).
Also Fleet Foxes are amazing. Have you heard Bon Iver yet? I also have Fleet Foxes Ep Sun Giant along with the excellent debut album. There is not one bad song on the Ep or on the album and I think the artwork is astounding.
Also I like your variety 'Ride The Lightning' just happens to be my favourite Metallica album (Im a big fan + have them all).

I'll give this a spin.

00: At the Drive-In- Relationship of Command
01: Rodney Crowell- The Houston Kid
02: Busdriver- Temporary Forever
03: Melt-Banana- Cell-Scape (this one was really hard)
04: MF DOOM- mm..Food?
05: The Mars Volta- Live at the Electric Ballroom
06: The Sound of Animals Fighting- Lover, The Lord has left Us
07: Trist- Hin-Fort
08: Panic at the Disco- Pretty. Odd (don't make fun of me please)
09: The Antlers- Hospice

I remeraber the day I first listened to it. Like it was yesterday. I can't describe it. It brings me back every time. Amazing. Mayonaise senRAB chills down my spine.

Finally a place where I can talk about the Pumpkins, with people who were there..and get it. Nice.

Those are the albums I love, or very much recommend : P

I haven't listened to any music that came out in 2008. I've spent the year catching up on my essential listening.
