Agreed on Catherine Wheel. In 92 I was a senior in high school and Black Metallic was a big hit single on the "college radio" stations at the time so it didn't feel underrated then - but, yeah, they got way too ignored after that time.
As for Pavement, you don't lose any credibility from me. If I were not a bored, stoned college student when I got into them, I may have felt the same way about Malkmus' vocals. But instead, they became a huge favorite and really changed my whole view of music.

I'm glad I didn't disappoint but yeah I totally know what you mean, I thought this place was full of old gimmers, I thought I was one of the younger ones on here being 18, but Jesus Christ on a bike! Some on here are 13 and 14.
