Hey, thanks. :)

Honestly, I should have put Nowhere for 1990, too. I think I've just been putting on more Breeders lately. Ride really hit their peak here. (Well, really with "Leave Them All Behind," but in terms of full-lengths, this was the last great one.)

And I get that.

Who now however could compare to..?

Say Tool? Pumpkins? Red Hots? Beasties? Soundgarden?

I'm sure their are individual arguments but as whole it's tough to argue.

^ Exactly. Some of those I haven't necessarily heard yet, like Exile in Guyville, but I keep hearing that it's a fantastic album, so why not?

Hmm I must be getting old or something as a lot of people have been saying to me that they use Itunes as opposed to Windows Media Player. Guess im just a bit retro but I personally find Windows Media Player a better program to use.

I graduated from HS in 1992 but somehow I still dont feel even slightly old.

The best was getting the cassette so you could rock the album in your car.
And to make you children a little more jealous: I saw RHCP on their BSSM tour - flaming hats and all.. Better yet (for me) was that Smashing Pumpkins opened for them supporting their Gish album. Part of the tour included Nirvana as the 1st opener. By the time the tour got to me, however, Nirvana had dropped off and were replaced by a band I had never heard of called Pearl Jam. They were a real crowd pleaser - I'm sure they've got a bright future.

1989- The Stone Roses- The Stone Roses (One of the first banRAB I ever got into & The best debut of all time (IMO).
1990- Neil Young & Crazy Horse- Ragged Glory (My Fav Neil Young Album & The Best IMO)
1991-Soundgarden-Badmotorfinger (My Fav Soundgarden album- check out Johnny Cash's cover of Rusty Cage- excellent.)
1992- Black Sabbath- Dehumanizer (I am now officially the 'King Of Controversy' by posting this and will even go on to say that it truly is my favourite Sabbath album and ****s on anything Ozzy ever did (IMO), not that I dont like the original Sabbath stuff but Dio's voice really does it for me. The track 'Computer God' has the best drum intro to a Sabbath song and is nothing short of phenomenal.
1993- The Gun Club- Lucky Jim- (To me this is the Gun Club at their best, is a very rare record and was well worth the

I love this idea, and great list to start off with Jackhammer! It's probably going to take me a while to come up with mine but I'm definitely doing this. I'll have to check out that Swirlies album. I really dig their music even though I've met Damon Tutunjian and think he's kind of a jackass.

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago was 2007.
Queens Of The Stone Age - Lullabies To Paralyze is shit.
Hole - Live Through This is also shit

You need a new 1994, 2008 and 2005. :p:

I feel exactly the same. Pick your pockets full of sorrow and run away with me tomorrow, right about there. Just genius song writing.

Billy.
