An Afternoon Action Block?

Do you think Nickelodeon/Nicktoons Network should have an afetrnoon action block? It could be something like:
4:00 Avatar
4:30 Avatar
5:00 El Tigre
5:30 Danny Phantom

I think they could benefit from this, because it would give them a chance to reckon with CN's upcoming Master Control block. What do you think?

An afternoon action block on Nick/Nicktoons Network could work. It could be like SLAM, only good. However, I'm not feeling that hypothetical lineup at all (especially not the back-to-back episodes of Avatar). I think that the block's lineup should consists of shows that are exclusive to the action block. Avatar airs often enough without a double dose of it on weekday afternoons. Also, it might be better if the block were to air on weekends, not weekdays.

The lineup could have shows like Justice League/JLU or Megas XLR. I would watch that.

Hmm...... I dunno. I can't remember the Nickelodeon in the U.S. really ever acquiring shows that have aired on other networks already (If you know any, lemme know), but they could bring in some shows from NickToons.

For example, The Secret Show and Skyland could be transferred to the main Nick station, and maybe, if Nickelodeon grew a brain, they'd get Megas and Unlimited. Now that would be cool.

Justice Leauge or even Megas XLR might as well be butchered like what they did to Animaniacs and Pinky & The Brain's theme songs. But more importantly, that will never happen. Even if they did increased IQ.

I didn't mean that Nick could/would acquire those specific shows. I meant that they could air shows that were like Megas and Justice League. Although if Nick could acquire Megas, that would rock.

The Secret Show, however, is more comedy than action. I thought the idea was for Nick to have an action block.

I assume you get Nicktoon's Network. Those who don't get it (like me) just about never see Avatar on at all.

Well, here's how I think an afternoon/evening action block could go, specifically for the weekends, using Nick-owned shows. Say your prayers, Toonami!

7:00 El Tigre
7:30 Danny Phantom
8:00 Avatar: The Last Airbender
8:30 Avatar: The Last Airbender

Ok, it's not very different, just switched around... Nick doesn't have very many action shows to chose from.

The above, Skyland and Martin Mystery (if that counts) are pretty much all the action shows that Nickelodeon/Nicktoons Network has. And no offense to fans of those shows, but I don't think a block consisting of just those shows would cause Toonami to lose sleep at night. If Nick wanted to compete head-on with CN in the action department (although they don't seem to be in any hurry to do so), they would need to either to either start producing some more action shows, or start acquiring some.

Well, since I don't get NN, I haven't seen Skyland. I guess Martin Mystery would work. But yeah, I do agree they would need more shows than these to really compete with Toonami- I was just joking in my other post.

I almost forgot about Martin Mystery! And I agree: even in it's current state of crap, Toonami can still whip this block's Orange and Green butt. But I wouldn't mind seeing:

5:00 El Tigre
5:30 Danny Phantom
6:00 Marvin Mystery
6:30 Avatar: The Last Airbender
7:00 Skyland
7:30 Rerun of a previous show, different acquired action show, maybe don't even have this spot, not sure what to put here.
