i have an amp that is rated at 150w x1ch@4ohm and 250w x1ch@2ohm and i have a 10" sub that its nominal power is 200w and its max is 1000w at 4ohm the guy at the store said that the amp will have to be cut down about half power cause the amp is so strong its a "memphis audio" amp btw. but like if its only rated at 150w for 4ohm the amp doesnt have enough power???? or will it not hit really hard or what??? if it doesnt have 1000w or 200w at 4ohm why would it have to be cut down halfway?? thanks for anyone who answers....
