K, ive got 2 12" Memphis PR124D subwoofers and a memphis PR1.1000 amplifier. I checked all the wiring and had it professionally done but it gives off a burning smell. ive had a few people tellin me just to run them low and let em break in, but i dont see why that would blow my amp...i had another kicker amp that i had for almost a year and put them in my new car and every amp i put in this car has blown, except a 4-channel visonik amp i have. some other people told me it might be an alternator problem, idk, any suggestions? if additional info is needed, let me know, help much appreciated!!

Check your fuses. You may be burning/blowing your fuse. It will melt the fuse and ruin the inside of the crevice where you insert your fuse, which could ruin the entire amp be careful.

buy some really expensive high end amp that has 25 - 75% more watts then your subs and run it on low. thats what i did and it worked :)
