You would probably need to flash a Verizon MP onto the phone but yes it should beable to be flashed.

follow this, if you dont have service yet with cricket you wont be able to dial 228 and hit update yet, so call cricket first or after you flash the first part and say you want new service, tell them its a cricket cell you got from a friend "razor" then give them the imie nuraber from your ampd cell. then finish the rest of the flash, you might need your local sid and min nuraber as well so ask!

Thats what i was thinking, I did it with a alltel phone but never amp'd never even heard of them, But noticed the amp'd phones are cheaper on ebay. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
