Among what groups of people is the sport of tennis popular (for watching)?

Age- 14 to 70, majority of them have played tennis at some point of their lives or actively playing.
Sex- male and female both, but at about 60% men over 40 % female, roughly
Countries-Predominantly USA, and most European countries, Growing trend in East Asian countries of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan.
Ethnicity- Caucasian, Asian, Afro, Arab.
And tennis is still popular among the middle class with a higher educational level, IMHO.

If you ever watch the commercials that are shown during the matches, you would pick up on some of the clues. What is being advertised? Who is the sponsor of the tournament? You see commercials for expensive cars, luxury watches, cruises... Hence, the demographics are the people with disposable income, which a lot of time means older rather than younger. In the US, it is predominantly white sport, with men probably in slight majority over women.
