I have had my fish tank for about 3 weeks. Its a tan gallon fresh water tank, I had the tank running for almost a week before i put any fish in, I used Aquasafe to take out clorine. I put the fish in the tank and they were fine for 2 days, on the 3rd day I left for a few hours and when i came back home my water was like a brown cloudy and i had dead fish! a few days later i took the water to the pet store, long story short i have been to the pet store with my water about 5 times!!! my ammonia level is too high and the worker had me change 5 gallons of my water and he also had me put AMQUEL in. The ammonia level is still too high. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the ammonia out??
