some reasons y america sucks dingle berry's

1. we help people before helping ourself (the spanish immagrants get free healthcare and insurance while us americans have to pay for it)
2. i had to learn hard ass language spanish (all the spanish people arent learning english so they make us learn spanish)
3. natural plants arent legal (marijuana)
4. we cant just stay to ourself, we have to go blow up some other country becuase they have oil.

im pissed right now becuase i cant understand my damn spanish class
 
spanish is an easy language... google up some learn-spanish sites...

I'm Canadian so I can't really say how much America sucks, but be thankful its mandatory to learn SPANISH and not FRENCH.
 
I think the current situation concerning illegal immigration is horseshit as well. Several hospitals in California have closed since they went bankrupt, due in part to this hoard of illegals planting anchor kids (as infants become US citizens automatically when they are born anywhere on US soil) here so they can bring the rest of the family over and drop kids, or come here with their medical problems and we cannot turn them down or some moron will bring a lawsuit and get 100 people to protest and sing hootenanny songs. That lobbyists from the Mexican gov't, the same Mexican gov't that hands out pamphlets on how to illegally immigrate to the US.

I take German, but I have taken Spainish and I think it sucks as well. A real crock of shit is the Spainish glossary in the US History textbooks. What the fuck? Until its manditory (which it isn't), I urge people not to take Spainish.

I highly doubt the US "sucks", based just on those reasons though.
 
the united states constitution has no official language. majority rules, and minority has the right to exist. that is the basis of our free country. hispanics, blacks, jews, asians... anyone has the right to be here, and there is no say on what language they have to learn. u dont HAVE to learn spanish, but if u wanna succeed in life, yur gonna need it i assure u. the only reason marijuana is not legal is because its gonna cause so much widespread disease (emphezema, lung cancer... etc. one joint = THC and tar of 10 cigs) that WE americans (didnt u say u dont like paying for other people's expenses?) would have to foot the bill for the people who cannot afford healthcare. another thing- get yur facts strait. the majority of people who benefit from medicaid and welfare are americans who cannot work, or who are too lazy to work and enjoy milking the government. HISPANIC (not spanish, unless u mean the ones that come from SPAIN!!!!!) people just want a better way of life so they come here. we dont have to worry about a "too" corrupt government and our water is clean. SUCK IT UP AND BE GLAD U ARE FREE. AND GET YUR FACTS FRIGGIN STRAIT!!!!
 
Yea, thats why the jails in the southwest are quickly filling up with people commiting felonies and landing there, who just happen to be illegal (leaving race out of the statement).

If they want to succeed here, why can't they learn English in a pre-dominantly English speaking nation?

Yes majority rules, and the minority has the right to exist, but when the majority vote on something, why is there a goddamn lawyer handy by some asshat group to get it overturned in the courts (namely the San Francisco court), despite the fact that it respects the rightsof the minority?

When is Rome, do what the Romans do. If I traveled to another nation, I would use their language and respect their customs and laws. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
 
thats just it... our customs and laws do not say we have to learn english. majority rules and minority has right to exist, and therefore it can succeed if it can find a way (not saying i agree with the san francisco court). it has that right.
 
the american way is to accept all cultures. if one does not want to deal with another language they have the right to either do something else with thier time or go to England where they speak all English.
 
What the fuck are you talking about you learned a hard ass language? 'y' is not a word, Some and America should both be capitalized and a period goes at the end of a sentence.

Anyway, the people voting for Bush is the main problem because Bush makes America looks like the new Hitler country deciding things that is a world-wide matter without telling any other nation.
 
the thing that pisses me off is they all immigrate here and they dont learn english!!! and then when u try to talk to them there like no english. i only type like this becuase i dont really give a shit, as long as people can read it then its okay.

canada seems like the place, atleast they dont give illegal people free healthcare and insurance
 
All right I'm going to reply to what most people said. Descent: shut up. Just because someone else made a similar thread before doesn't mean it should be closed. boycott: French is the easiest language I've ever learned. :rolleyes: Mr.Newbie: I agree with you that the neo-cons are fucking it up for everyone. But Bush isn't even close to being Hitler-esque.

Up there someone was saying something about y not being a word, and its spanish ... might want to edit that post so you don't have spanish and "y is not a word" near each other.

And also, Don't come to Canada. Lame here. I'm considering sweden when I move out or post-secondary... Either way I'm getting out of this country whether it be New Zealand or Ireland ;)
