Just got back from a preview of the film and it is excellent but not as good as the first two! The best bit is Stifler in the Gay bar dancing in competition with another bloke!

There is a lot of swearing which is not needed but it is really funny! Worth watching!!

who are you calling a ladie

one film i thought changing the name for was

Joy Ride = USA title - Road Kill = UK tittle

i think it would of been better the other way around

Nooooooo... the conversion is much metter if you actually see the film, which is ok for the low budget film it is.... For me joy riding is what Wayne Rooney does after training along with Steeeeeeeeeeevie gerrard. Roadkill is a much more suitable title for this flick :D

The basic thinking must be that we in the UK will be confused by a film called 'American Wedding' and not make the connection to the original Pie movies.

That must be the only reason-but it's obvious that everybody will still be saying 'Have you seen the new American Pie?' or 'Saw American Pie 3 last night' though.

Well I saw it last night, and its damned funny. Same kind of cheap, dirty jokes, but still funny. The plot isn't exactly deep, but there's a story, and it was worth seeing.

Just got to wait for the 'unlimited' DVD to come out :D

I for one loved the movie... saw it yesterday afternoon, the Stifler gay bar dance-a-thon is definetly yone of the funniest scenes in the movie... And on the title thing, one speculated reason behind the title change is that the title "American Wedding" was detrimental to the movie - the US thought guys would confuse the "Wedding" portion of the title to denote a chick-flick (reminiscent of My Big Fat Greek Wedding), hence changing the title to "American Pie: The Wedding"

i just watched it yesterday after returning from a formal party to celebrate the indonesian independence day with a big group of frienRAB and it was sooo good :D we thought keeping ourselves dressed in formal clothes would be great to celebrate their wedding :)

Okay, i need your help.

I am trying to find out the names of the songs in the 'medley' in this scene.

I know some of them....................

2. Heaven is a place on Earth
3. Sweet dreams
4. Venus

Does anyone know the title of the first song in this medley sequence??? It started off like a Michael Jackson track, but it wasn't.
Also remember it has the worRAB '?? on the dancefloor'
but i don't know what it is called, and it is a really smart track, and i need to know what it is.

Please help!

I have looked at the soundtrack listing, and listened to all the samples, but this particular medley isn't included (which i think is stupid) so please don't tell me to look there!

Thanks in advance,

Carene

Oh Brilliant thanks

Thats it "Maniac" on the dancefloor.

Thanks very much. Also knew i'd recognised it from somewhere! Mustve been Flashdance because i havnt seen Elvira

Loved it too. I disagree with flogging a dead horse and fully admit that I liked American Pie 2 but imagined there wouldn't be enough gags left to fill AP3... how wrong I was!

Brilliant from start to finish, I was happy from the opening instantly-recognisable guitar chorRAB and vocals ("This bed is on fire, with passionate love"... yeah you know the one!) to the very same guitar chorRAB and vocals at the end. The soundtrack is brilliant on the whole actually, the same quality as 1 and 2.

Lots of gross - and I mean gross! - scenes in it which just made it hilarious. Stifler was really slow to start in this film, which worried me at first, but he was soon back on form and being American Pie's funniest character. The useless singing jock doesn't feature, nor do many of the original cast females, apart from - obviously - the band camp geek Michelle. Eugene Levy gets a bigger role as Jim's Dad, and does the job brilliantly - nobody could play Jim's Dad better than him!

On the whole, a bloody fantastic film. Like Austin Powers (but unlike Terminator), there was enough milk for a third installment - but surely that has got to be the last?
