American Pie films

I only really class the first 3 as American Pie films, as the others like Band Camp at Beta House, are just poor immitations really.

I love 1 & 3, I didn't really like 2 so much, it was ok, but the others I found hilarious. They tend to be my late night, half cut watching
 
Loved the original trilogy, band camp ok-ish, naked mile watchable, havent seen beta house.

End scene in 2 my fav. where finch is boning stiflers mum in the car and he's calling her name and she screams out "call me stiflers mom!"
 
Loved 1 & 2, but the Wedding was a little flat for me (but funny in places). I really missed Michelle & Oz and Kevin wasn't in it enough. Liked the Stifleresque Finch though :D

Haven't bothered with the straight-to-DVD ones.
 
The actor Chris Klein who played Oz finally came to his senses and realised the entire American Pie franchise was shite so he took a part in another film called Rollerball - which flopped and turned out to be equally as bad.
 
the entire scene in American Pie 1 with Nadia in Jim's bedroom and the webcam broadcast to the entire school is one of the most inspired bits of comedy in recent times, it's brilliant.

particularly when Stifler, in disgust at Jim's dancing says "What the f*ck is THIS??" :D:D
 
The first movie is a classic - Although a gross out comedy, the film also has heart and somehow manages to maintain a 'feel good' vibe through out. Some hilarious scenes, and lots of laugh out loud moments.

The second was still very good, but couldn't match the first.

The wedding? I remember being disappointed at the time, and didn't enjoy it that much - Stifler is reduced to a pantomine gimmick, many of the original cast didn't return for the wedding, and Kevin (who had a main role in the first movie) is reduced to a supporting role with about two lines in the whole film.

Band Camp? Okish I suppose but pretty crap in comparison.

The naked mile? Much worse, and pretty poor.

Beta house? Absolutely dismal - Pure tripe - The brand has been reduced to a low budget porn comedy and lost everything that was good about the originals.

Not gonna bother with 'The book of love' which is the newest one.
 
American Pie movies do nothing for me either, but neither did the Porky's films or Animal House.
I find them just too dumb which is strange as I really like Ade and Rick's tv series Bottom which is even more purile than these. LOL
