Football in Europe and other places is not at all the same game as American football.
I personally find the "soccer" game boring. I am a 66 year old guy, raised in California, so I never had any exposure to "soccer". All the folks who play it or watch it, are crazy about it. I tried to get into it when I lived in Singapore, a former colonies of England, but I just couldn't get excited.
I think the bottom line is that exposure is what makes it good for fans. I do know one thing... those guys are in great shape... running, running, running....
