American Dad - "Son of Stan" - Talkback [10/10]

Probably because it would make American Dad! and Family Guy too similar. The writers are probably trying to do everything they can to differentiate the former from the latter.

Haley fan service...

...oh wait, um, er, oh yeah, the episode.

I honestly felt that this episode felt pretty much incomplete on the B-plot side, just like last week.

Roger transpoting by getting high was the highlight, though.

Ah, solid episode. Loved the 80s-style bicycle montages (especially with the first fake out), the last bit between Steverino and Stan, and of course... MYAAAAA! Love how Roger always crossed his eyes at that.

Now to wonder what'll happen next week, now that Hayley and Jeff are without that $50,000.

My guess is that the running gag this season will be seeing Hayley and Jeff trying to make it in married life. I'll bet they return to Langley Falls soon, and most likely end up living in the Smith's home until they find a place of their own.

My sentiments exactly. His face is what did it for me, but his "MYAH!" definitely added to the hilarity!

You're good.

Good episode. Of course Stan couldn't let it be and have Francine win, so he clones Steve... and they find out they'd both be screwed-up parents on their own. Steverino turned out evil and wanted to kill Steve, so in the end... I guess Francine still has a net win?

The best part of the episode was Roger chasing Hayley and Jeff, though. From the trippy way he found them in the first place to their crazy chase to the end result. No matter how much they tried to outwit him, Roger always managed to find them. Great stuff.

Enjoyable episode. Stan raising Steverino and Francine raising Steve was kind of weird. Before the cat shot Steverino I thought he would return in a future episode. Roger making Hayley and Jeff use all their money was kind of funny.

Great episode even though it was a loose two-parter.
Duper being the only character to cheat death suprised me. Also, I guess the CIA perfected cloning.
We all knew the outcome of the episode. Steve needs both Francine/Stan's parenting so he won't be driven away. Too strict and you get Steve-arino, a psycho who wants freedom. Too lax and you have lazy Steve, a kid who does nothing and walks over his parents.
The subplot with Roger was funny. I also liked the part where he tripped out in order to locate them.:p

No one didn't point this out, but the cat that killed Steve-arino was the same one that attacked Steve in Season 4.I didn't recognize him until my sister who was watching the episode showed me.

Now we wait for next month's episode.

Great episode. I loved all the bike racing. Steve sure turned into a...disgusting human being. I guess it does make sense that you need both Stan and Francine's parenting to raise a well-balanced child.

And Steverino juggling cat heads and biting them ::shudder::

I've had "Electric Feel" by MGMT stuck in my head ever since I saw this episode. Good use of Roger here.

Ditto.
