A new episode airs tonight at 9:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

See this is my problem with Stan. When Peter is this stupid and mistreats his wife it somehow isn't that bad because at heart Peter is a retarded, immature, man-child.

But with Stan it's just...not funny.

BEST American Dad episode Roger stole the whole show. I was laughing every time he was in a scene Jennie Gold has to make a come back and her son's. My favorite moment you need to relax....slaps on gloves it was so gross. The sub-plot for Steve and Haylee were funny too My scar is burning he's thinking of me faux Sagat line.

Did they ever resolve Stan being blind? I'm sure they did, I just wasn't paying attention to the ending.

Anyway, I've never been a big fan of this type of sitcom plot, where the wife tries to prove that her husband only cares about her because of her looks. Then they go out of their way to appear physically less attractive, as a test. That doesn't prove anything.

It gained a couple points at the end for Francine realizing that she would have to get a job because Stan's now a blind, helpless guy, but the whole concept of the episode still didn't sit well with me.

How did she go out of her way? Did you pay attention to what she has to do to stay good-looking? I'd say it's the other way around. :p

I'd give this episode a B+/A-. It had alot of good laughs, especially in the beginning with Klaus expecting a new friend, only to find out its just a gold fish that was blind. Roger really stole the show in this one. I liked how he interchanged from Wedding planner to a cut-throat Russian (Don't dissapoint Ms. Gold) and was really deep in character.

Now when Francine stepped out of the Limo, I thought she looked ugly through Stan's eyes because the synopsis said that she was letting herself go. But I was suprised . Stan loves her, but can't get past the masculine-fugly appearance; in order to be with her he decides to be blind. And as I predicted, being blind made Stan appreciate Francine more. The only problem is reality hits Francine that she'll have to be the one providing since he has a serious handicap. So she blows of Stan, and the two realize even though they marrried each other for surface reasons; they still loved each other.

For now, this is the best episode of Season 5.

This is the only FOX show I saw last night.

I thought it was good. Stan and Francine rekindling their love was well done, and Rodger was entertaining. I just didn't like the ending where they reset everything be deciding their relationship worked by being shallow. It just seemed kind of...I don't know how to describe it. I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

I disagree, because she admitted it pretty much consumed her entire day.

How can she complain that all he cares about is her looks when she does nothing every day but work on maintaining them?

Y'know, this is another one of those shows that sorta hit me with "slowly dying on me".

It's not that it's a bad show or anything..but I don' know. It's like ya stop watching something enough as you get busy with other things, and y'just can't "go home again".

I just don't find it as funny as I used to...and I'm more than positive it's not that the show has changed; just I have.
