A new episode aired tonight at 9:27 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

I really hate how this episode claims that trans fats make food taste better. King of the Hill did the same thing, and it's just not true. The reason so many manufacturers put trans fat in food is because it's cheaper, not because it tastes good.

Ah, we're back.

This episode was pretty much hilarious from start to finish. Stan had so much great dialogue in the first 3 minutes that I really need to watch it again to catch all of it. Forrest Whitaker was also great, yet again. I assumed the episode was heading towards a "See? See? Trans fat = marijuana?" conclusion, but they left most of that for the viewer to figure out. It mostly just focused on being funny.

As a few other shows have already tackled the trans fat issue, this one felt a little behind. Still, it had its moments. I liked when Stan kept backing up to remove the evidence when he approached Turlington (YES, another appearance!), and Steve's obvious nervousness in his voice when riding past Turlington was well-delivered.

For some reason, Klaus screaming at the start of his subplot really cracked me up. His reaction just came out of nowhere.

So American Dad and King of the Hill have both recently had episodes revolving around trans fat being banned. Can a city or state constitutionally put a ban on trans fat in real life?

who's laughing now Yankee?! * eats a piece of chicken fried steak*

yeah it's more damaging if it happen in Texas(the KOTH version was better)
