Clearly I was right to do so. Glad they fixed it.

I loved the payoff of Stan shooting him. Perfect way to end the charade.

They should've saved the reveal at the end.

You know, from the sounds of what people are saying, this was a pretty disturbing episode so it might be a good thing that I missed it.

The only disturbing thing was Francine's deformed face during the second-to-last scene (and, arguably, the whole scene with those poor birds...). Otherwise, it was a pretty good episode.

Oh Francine's face for at least one second has an "OMG" shock value but when you watch it a second time you get desensitized. I had to replay it on Hulu just to see it again since it was like, wow. That said, the bird scene was more disturbing.

You know had this episode been like the Office in style when it came to the scenes in the CIA HQ, I would probably peg this episode as "Best In Season" for one reason or another. That came out of nowhere for me and would've been awesome had it been like such throughout. That said, enjoyable if a bit dark an episode.

And egad was that acid attack on Francine horrifically timely. I think there was some international furor a day or so earlier with regards to allowing an acid attack victim some payback by doing the same to her assailant in Iran which got snubbed.

But yeah, Francine's disfigured face is going to linger in my mind for a while.:ack:
