American Dad - "Escape from Pearl Bailey" - Talkback [11/9]

I was hoping the nerds would survive this. But I guess they kind of deserve it in the end.

It was a fun episode though. It was the most enjoyable of the four tonight.

Great episode. It's amazing how much they can fit into half an hour by only focusing on one character/plot. Also gotta give props to some very inventive revenge schemes. I wonder if FOX purposely arranged the Family Guy and American Dad! schedules so the two teddy bear sex episodes were back-to-back?

Wow that was an amazing episode! No wonder why the guys on the commentary said they loved this one as it was brilliant. It's amazing how much they could fit into a half-hour. Episodes like this show why American Dad is better than Family Guy these days. The episode was all Steve and him and his friends were all the episode needed. I liked the joke with the family making their mandatory appearance though. The scene with Toshi's katana was great too. Although I always enjoy scenes with Toshi. Anyway a fun episode and the best of all the animated shows tonight. 5/5.

"My Names Barry!"

That just makes me laugh. I liked how the whole episode was centered around Steve, I also liked seeing Stan and the rest of the family for that quick few seconds. "Thanks for acknowledging us for a brief moment." Definitly a fun episode.

I thought this was a great episode, and actually liked that most of the main cast was hardly in it. But I wonder, could a person actually get herpes just by touching something that someone with herpes had touched (I've wondered this since I saw the South Park episode "Chicken Pox")?

And I predicted two things while watching: That Steve's girlfriend would help save them, and that they would get caught due to stalling when they got to Francine's car.

Wowsers....they gotta quit sticking Steve into lame B-plots if this is how an entire episode around his posse turns out. This is the first time Steve's friends really stood out to me and worked on a true comedy level. The quality overall was way up from last week.

It's interesting that a Family Guy gag (from "PTV") got edited in its Fox broadcast to eliminate the sound of poop hitting a car, and yet here it is.
