Is there an episode of American Dad where they actually show how Roger came to live with them? I've read on Wikipedia that he saved Stan's life and then Stan gives him to Steve as a birthday present, but is there an episode where we actually see this scene depicted?

I dont think so! I think he was there since the first episode! It would be cool if they showed something like that though! They still could!
