American Dad - "Cops and Roger" - Talkback [4/11]

I know it is a bit late but American Dad was definetly the strongest episode of Animation Domination.

Kudos to the writers for bringing back the Reginald/Haley relationship and continuity from a few weeks ago. I really support R/H. It seems like it would work and they both seem to genuinely care about each other.

Also it was nice seeing Roger be a decent person towards the end and admitting that he actually likes Stan. Also the elbow smash scene was EPIC!

Basically it had a strong beginning, middle, and end. American Dad seems to be so much more orderly and plot and character oriented then the other two MacFarlane shows. Also it doesn't strive for as much toilet humor.

This is one of the stronger episodes of the season to me.
 
I have to say I'm not really liking Reginald. At best he's pretty boring and at worst he's... kind of like what Klaus was in the pilot. Remember how we all hated him, and then they wisely scaled him back? Yeah. Reginald is not good. He was good as a one-time gag. If this is all they can come up with for Hayley, they're better off ignoring her again.

The head explode thing was awesome, but unfortunately I had it spoiled for me as a random animated GIF on a forum, so I basically couldn't experience the entire punchline of the episode.
