Was surprised one of these wasn't up yet.

Anyway, according to Zap2it's TV listings, Stan's mother comes to visit. Don't know what that could have to do with the Greek Tragedy of Oedipus Rex.

References to O'hare Airport and Valparaiso, Indiana? The writer must be from my neck of the woods.

Stan trying to merge = hilarious. Why don't people let you merge?

The merging gag was great. Between this and the "trying to find a parking spot" gag from a previous episode, American Dad sure knows how to make relatable, well-executed driving jokes.

I also loved Stan popping out of the toilet to a frightened boy.

As soon as Roger said he'd research all of Betty's previous boyfriends I could guess where the plot was going, but it was still a good one. Also loved the sub-plot, with the best parts being Klaus spitting inside his own bowl and "Fish can't get herpes, can they?"

Anyone here study fish? I don't know exactly what "Ick" is. But other than that, hillariously screwed up episode.

Roger really had some choice material here... pretend being married to Vallerie Harper, having a dry cleaning closet full of clothes and a catellogue of each of his aliases, and then the whole accountant thing. And my personal favorite, disguising as a stereotype overweight middle aged African American woman. Just hillarious.

I was worried the episode, as funny as it was, was getting sitcom-y, but as soon as I heard the bit about the Mother's dates going missing, I knew their would be some wacky action scene that I just love in this series.

Oh, and Hayley showing up at the end delivering one line... and what a line it was.

This was a decent episode, I had actually hoped in the beginning though that Francine would try to get Stan's mom to date Stan's Boss, that would have been interesting. And I loved Roger as the southern lady, the accent was hilarious and Stan trying to merge was great too.

It was an alright episode, started like your usual American Dad episode but the second half became a lot funnier. One thing I noticed is all AD episodes are pretty much the same plotwise because of Stan, the others saved the episode the second half like I mentioned though.

I liked this episode like most, but I'm concerned that the writers are underusing Haley. She was one of my favorite characters from the start and the interplay between her and Stan was great, but she's been lacking a lot recently. Seems like all she does is show up for one or two gags per episode. I hope they haven't given up on writing for her.

"Fish don't get herpes, do they?" was worth the wait.

So was the ending that revealed Stan hadn't killed all those men, but put them on an island (I guess if he had, it would have broken continuity with "The 42-Year-Old Virgin," right? Is this the only Fox show left that cares about continuity?)

Another winner of an episode. Southern Fat Sassy Woman was one of Roger's best disguises yet.

I agree.

Overall, yet another winner from AD. I think Roger really played well in this epissode, what with his disguises and personas. There were some good jokes in there too, Klaus on the phone, 'Fish don't get herpes do they?', Stan trying to merge, and so on.

Good episode, especially the second half. Roger was really hilarious in his "fat black woman" disguise, probably the funniest he's ever been. I also liked Stan on the surface streets.

This was a great episode- I LOVED Francine's reaction when Roger reacts to seeing Stan in the tub with his mom.

The Ick thing was great, as was Stan merging, and the whole resolution scene on the plane.

Honestly, I'm really glad they're not using Hayley that much. For an animated character, she ain't that bad looking, but she gets REALLY annoying when they use her for "what she was meant for".

Honestly- save Hayley more for her true calling: being one of Captain Planet's Planeteers...
