American Dad - "Best Little Horror House in Langely Falls" - Talkback [11/7]

Four points for Akiko as Chun-Li.

Three points for Toshi getting all awseome in our faces.

Two points for less Roger than usual.

Minus a million points for no Hayley.

Good follow up to the Family Guy episode. I think I prefer this one overall.

It's been a while since we've seen a solo Steve centered episode, but it was welcomed after its long absence. I gotta admit, I'd try to hook up with Akiko as well in that outift :D

Stan's plan to make his haunted house scarier was just asking to backfire, and it certainly went as bad as it seemed it would. I appreciate how they tied it in with Steve's plot by having Toshi kill off the serial killers.

I don't get the point of Roger's attic scene, but I thought it was amusing regardless.

Did anyone else think they went overboard with the licensed music in this episode? It felt like every other Steve scene was accompanied with some pop song.

Very enjoyable episode. Stan trying to get the best haunted house was definitely going to back fire on him. Toshi killing the serial kills at the end was kind of gruesome.

I normally don't watch American Dad, but I saw it was also having a Halloween episode while watching Family Guy and decided to watch. I'm glad I did, because it was hilarious. I loved Stan's obsession with having the best haunted house in the block, but I really liked the ending when the kid showed up to save the day. I couldn't believe how bloody that finale was with arms, legs, and heads getting chopped off. My brother and I were like, "Ooohhh... Ooohhh... OOOHHH!" with each bloody dismemberment. It was unreal!

And the topper was perfect: "Abba-Zaba!" :D

So maybe Haley is actually gone for good? I really hope not.

Also, did anyone notice that Grey DeLisle is no longer voicing Akiko? That disappoints me.

That was a crazy episode, particularly the ending. I loved Steve's costume as a Go-bot, they don't get enough respect.

Stan's plot was a lot of fun, his neighbor's house would've scared the heck out of me.

Roger was...disgusting. I liked his musical number, though.

I'm hoping they revisit it, I'm assuming that's why they aged her up in the first place.

Yeah, you'd think that, in keeping with the night's motif, they'd throw her in as a slutty something-or-other, even if it was just in the background.
