American citizens-what is the spookiest place in America?

There are several--The Little Big Horn in Wyoming, where Custer's Last Stand battle took place is pretty spooky. Every one of the soldiers who fought there were slaughtered. Some people say when they go there and look around, they can hear sounds of the battle going on. Also, some of the battlegrounds from the Civil War are pretty eerie. I personally think Salt Lake City, Utah is a strange place. The Mormon temple and tabernacle dominate the entire city . It is an extremely clean place--no litter in the streets. You can't buy any kind of drink with caffeine in it (no coffee tea or soft drink). The people all have a beatific smile on their faces, and everything about the place is about the Mormon culture. It's like it's not in the U.S. The Sargasso Sea in California is as strange a place as you will find. It's completely landlocked and you can smell it for miles around.
