I actually thought The Naked Mile wasn't so bad. I didn't really like Band Camp at all. Having said that they are both of questionable quality compared to the original films (and I didn't think AP: The Wedding was that great either). It's been 8 years since the first American Pie. Other than a few character names and Eugene Levy, these films are barely connected to the originals. I think they should try something new now, and stop these straight-to-video sequels.
 
I think its time to finish doing the american pie series, they are getting tired... I agree with the last poster that american pie: the wedding wasnt that great... was funny, but i think they over-used stiffler a tad
 
Christ, they should have just ended it with the Wedding.

I would recycle my joke and get my movie dialouge for this new AP film, but it's not even worth it. It's become the equiviant of a porn series such as Big Ghetto Booties and UK Student House.

And Eugene Levy must really, really need the money.

What do movie execs even think?

"Hey guys. So the last American Pie was a bit of a success. You know what that means, right? We need to make MORE! MORE MORE MORE!"
 
I didnt know they released other movies after the Wedding. I liked the Wedding but to be honest, i think that was stretched too far, so i dont know what the new ones will be like.
 
I noticed in the trailer that this one is 18, the first AP movie to get the highest rating. So what more smutty stuff could they put in this to get it so high, from my recollection of the previous films, there wasn't left to the imagination as it was...

They defiled the National Lampoon's... tag now they're defiling American Pie... it upsets me. They're not fit even to lick the boots of the franchises.

Don't buy them, don't rent them don't encourage them. Shame on them.
 
According to the MPAA the reason for the rating is:

"Rated R for pervasive strong crude and sexual content, graphic nudity, language and excessive drinking."

I think the reason for the BBFC 18 rating will be down to the "graphic nudity" part, the rest of the AP films are only listed as having "strong sexuality/sexual content".

Regardless of the 18 certificate, i'm still not interested in this. AP1-3 are excellent imo, the straight to DVD spin oRAB have all been downright awful.
