there will be an americain pie 5 it will be called
American Pie 5: The Naked Mile

the plot is
The movie will shift its focus on Adam Stifler, the cousin of Matt and Steve , a youngster whose anything like his wild relations. Peer pressure starts to turn him though, with his pals coaxing him into helping host the college 'Naked Mile', a naked-run across the college campus.

The first film was wonderful; the second was ok; the third was below average; the fourth was heinous; the fifth will be the worst so far. What's the point?

Amercian Pie 4: Band Camp wasn't not only one of the worst films I have ever seen, it wasn't even a proper American Pie film as it had none of the original cast.

It was like they made a terrbile movie and tacted the American Pie name on to stop it from sinking.

AAAAAAAAAAh. I have watched 1+3. I watched the ITV2 premiere of the 3 the other day and hated how they ruined such a great film. It is like the "i know what you did last summer franchise." Although that wasn't a great film to begin with, the new ones don't have any of the original cast.

Why do these people insist upon driving films like American Pie into the ground?

The first one was good for a couple of viewings, the second one was mediocre at best. The third one was just crap, and the fourth...

Following this pattern, I won't even give the fifth one a chance.

I don't see the point in sequels - they just destroy a film in 99% of cases. So when you're talking about the fourth sequel, like we are here, it's just ridiculous. Especially when the original wasn't anything special.

To quote Randy in Scream 2 (which, ironically, wasn't as good as the original):

"By definition, sequels are inferior films"

:p

The first one was a classic teen movie. The 2nd was a blatant retread of the 1st and the 3rd was actually quite good, geting rid of the crap characters. Never saw Band Camp and don't intend to see the new one.

Staright-to-DVD is S-T-D for a reason.

The Naked Mile isn't a completely dreadful film, you get what you'd expect, and it's pretty funny throughout, but it's by no means a good film, better than Band Camp though.

Eugene Levy gets ridiculous, is he really that desperate for a pay cheque? He used to be the cool dad that didn't feel uncomfortable talking about anything, now he just turns up to give random kiRAB advice.
