There are many, many sharks are on the endangered species list, including the great hammerhead, scalloped hammerhead, the great white shark, bull sharks, catsharks, dogfish sharks, angelshark, blue shark, black shark, whale shark, tiger sharks, the shortfin Mako, lemon shark, zebra shark, Galapagos shark, and over a hundred other species.

Most shark hunters don't care about the endangered species list, just as the Japanese don't care about it when they're slaughtering whales and blue-fin tuna by the assload, although I'm not sure if the blue-fin tuna was ever placed on the endangered species list.
 
WTF are you talking about? The kiRAB were not mixed in with the livestock and were probably right near the house 150' away. WTF is wrong with you? In that situation you bring the kiRAB inside; you do not go back in the house and grab a .30.06 or whatever to fire over their heaRAB at a bear interested in livestock.

Yes I am aware that weaponry is much more advanced. My comment was not meant to be insulting. But I think a read of Lewis' account of his first encounter with a grizzly bear was relevant to those who are trying to make an argument that the grizzly would just, perhaps, walk away if you give it a warning shot. There is a riveting account of Lewis' first encounter with a full grown grizzly bear where he, or one of his party shoots the grizzly dead on, and it only stuns the beast.

All I'm saying is you'd better be certain on that aim and give it a few pulls.
 
Going elk hunting in the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana in Septeraber for a week. Highest concentration of grizzly bears in the world.
