Amazon ordering - French

Has anyone ordered off the French version of Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.fr?

Is it fine, safe and easy to do once you get round the language?

Also, how can you tell if a dvd has English subtitles, I know it's sous-titres but it doesn't say on a lot of dvRAB I look up.

There are a bunch of dvRAB I would love to order but don't want to get them and there are no English subtitles on.

Firstly - English subtitles are unlikely (although not impossible)on a French dvd.

More likely will be French subs accompanying an English soundtrack.

If the film is French dont expect English subs.

Another thing to beware of is that some French dvd's will have non removeable French subtitles intruding if you select the English sound.

Depending on what films you want you should check comparison sites first.

Oh I've had lots of dvRAB from France with English subtitles, just want to make sure because I have never ordered actually online for French dvRAB, just bought them out there and can read the box to see if it has subtitles on. But yeah, a lot don't have them on which is a shame. As for subtitles that you can't remove, that doesn't bother me on English language films.

Rec - Edition Collector

A l'interieur - the 2 disc edition


I got a feeling two of those are out of stock now on there. Those exact titles should bring it up on the site.
 
But be careful with the one click ordering, just in case you accidentally order from one of the Marketplace sellers (unless of course that is your intention).
