Amazon buying up old stock?

Here's an odd thing. I just bought the two disc special edition of 'Die Hard 2: Die Harder' at a very good price of

Smiths will have bought in stock from a supplier on sale or return. The disc did not sell so it was returned to the supplier. WHSMITHS staff should have removed the stickers and failing that the supplier, and failing that amazon!

Amazon had the disc as they bought their stock from the supplier who is within thier rights to sell it on. It will still be brand new but its just how retail works. Hope that helps

So basically, just repackaged by Amazon who failed to remove the original cellophane. Mind you good thing is that it was so cheap and evidently brand new, so nice bargain hunting.

Got the two disc special edition of Die Hard even cheaper from Amazon for under a fiver. Also got a now rare two disc special edition R1 of Die Hard 3 for a tenner, though admittedly second hand, also from Amazon.

Watching Die Hard 4 prompted me to go back and complete the set as best I could.
