Amazon ATT phone deals?

I am upgrading my wife's phone, a 9.99 4th line on our 100.00 2100 minute plan.

I noticed Amazon has some nice free phones with contract extentions or new contracts.

When I added the phone and plan to my cart, it says 100.00 a month will be billed.

Does anyone have any experiance with Amazon and there plans? I want the deal but if I get billed another 100.00 on top of my first line 100.00 bill, I will flip out.
 
My experience is that you can also get some pretty good deals or even free phones when adding another line to the family plan directly with Cingular/AT&T. Look at what the prices are listed online for a new account at the AT&T website, that should be what you would pay to add a line. Sometimes it is better to call customer service directly to do it, they will wave some fees and lower the price sometimes. I found that out a few years ago, I got a 150.00 phone for free by simply saying I could get it by switching carriers free...
