Am i wrong to be mad at my future sister in law?

Quit making this about you, because it's not. Be close to your niece or nephew anyway. She can't keep you from that. If she truly is trying to get to you, be extra nice to her, it'll just kill her.
 
Why should you be the Godparent of a woman's child whom you are not even close to?
Your sister in law and brother should grow up and choose someone who they both are close with.
 
My sister in law is about a month pregnant. Her and my brother already started talking about baptising the baby and my brother chose me as godmother. Now, two weeks later, my brother called up my mom and told her that after a night of fighting, they are going to choose her sister to be the godmother. She feels as if it is not fair because I never tried to get close to her, but in my opinion she has no personality, i talk to her but never hang out with her alone. But her sister and her brother never try to reach out to my brother. I am really hurt by this.. If it helps, her brother, sister, and myself are all the same age.
