My husband and I have important business that need to be taken care of. We are going to need a place to stay next month and important papers need to be turned in so that they can be processed ASAP. I normally take care of all the business, but on a rare occasion, I'll need him to do it.
We have no kids, therefore we don't have certain responsibilities that come along with having a kid.
Everyday my husband has been picking up his niece from school, he doesn't mind because he is very nice and kind hearted. I don't mind either because I believe you should help out family when you can.
Tomorrow I need him to handle some important housing business. I would do it myself, but I will be at work. He said that he will do it Tuesday because he has to pick up his niece. It's important for papers to be turned in tomorrow in order for it to be processed ASAP.
We have No kids, therefore, we have no responsibility. His responsibility lies in making sure our housing business is taken care of. His sister's responsibility lies in making sure her daughter has a ride home. His niece has two parents who can do it.
He got mad when I told him that. Was I wrong?
I don't mind him picking up his niece, but on the rare occasion that we Need something taken care of, I think that's where his responsibility is. Take care of Your business first, then continue on with your niece everyday after that if you want.
