Am I weird for not using a hair conditioner when taking a shower?

Okay, first of all, I have oily hair and that is one of few reasons why I ONLY use shampoos due to their 'cool' feeling (moisture)....although, I do NOT like using conditioners because it will only make my hair oily-er.....AND because I do not like the oily and thick, warm feeling of the liquid....

what do you think? do u dislike conditioners too? do u just stick on using shampoo because they actually feel cold when put on hair and they hydrate it...

??

haha! no, of course your not weird!
i have the same problem as you do about the oily hair.
it's crazy, it's like i wash it in the morning and by bedtime it's all oily again. x_x
i never used to use conditioner either, but after bleaching and damaging my hair big-time a while back, i use conditioner all the time to keep my hair smooth and healthy ... looking, atleast, lol

but, in your case, if your hair is healthy, then i suppose it's perfectly fine to skip the conditioner,
although you should do it atleast once a week as it really is good for the hair.

I personally don't dislike conditioners because I have really thick, long, dry hair that needs conditioning otherwise I would never be able to run a comb/brush through it. If I could get away with just using shampoo I would. Shampoos are a good way to cleanse hair; and to tell you the truth most people, with the exception of those like me who have insanely thick/dry hair, don't need conditioners.
Conditioners are mostly a marketing scheme designed by shampoo companies to sell more product. They make you think that you need both when in reality you really don't. All most people need to use when washing their hair are shampoo and a detangler. A detangler that is sprayed into hair before blow drying is all the conditioning that you really need... just to get the knots out of hair. But for obvious reasons people feel the need to use conditioners.

I personally don't buy regular conditioners... I use a leave-in treatment for chemically processed hair since that is what it is designed for... and than afterwards I use a detangler. Skipping conditioner will save you money in the long run.

So no, you are no weird for not using conditioner. If that routine works for your hair than by all means continue!
