Hi my name is Monica and I'm 22 years old I'm 5-4 and weight 315 pounds. I gained 115 in the last five years. I was thinking about getting the lap band surgery but I changed my mind. I want to lose the weight slow and I do not want sagging loose skin. I want to start cardio and strength training exercises. I am embarrassed because when i went to the YMCA in my town last week a lot of people were giving me nasty looks and laughing at me. I have asthma and get short of breath very quickly. I heard one girl say I was disgusting. Most the people at that gym were small and in shape some bigger but not obese. The next gym would be 1 hour away and that's too far. I was thinking about walking for like 45 minutes everyday and sit ups to lose about 50 pounds before I join a gym. Please Help
