am i to young to be thinking about the military?

im 13 and i am already set on joining the ARMY but my dad says he wont let me join the army. he said im allowed in the navy or air force but im dead set on the army am i to young to know i mean i know its not like games but ive always loved the idea of the military and dont want my dad to ruin it all
btw i go army cadets if that chanegs anything
