Am I to understand that thanks to Obama we will be paying for abortions performed outside of our country?

Why are some of you being so ugly, I asked a question I did not insinuate anything by asking the question, why so hostile?Why are supporting any kind of program in other countries when our economy is in the tank, how do we justify this when we cant even take care of our own and now are doling monye(we dont have) to support programs that I am against in this countryellasmom you are a very angry person and you scare me, and you are a mom?
 
What he's going to do is NOT cut off funding to groups that help inform women on sex education and provide women with adequate health care and means to get birth control to hopefully prevent a woman from getting an abortion. Yes some of those women will still get them but what does it matter to you? You don't know what happened to these women. Rape and incest are FAR MORE common in third world countries. I was raped. I defy you to tell me I would have had to carry that piece of trashes baby. Thank god for Obama!
 
Not directly. Aid money will no longer be barred from medical facilities that offer family planning services. The funds simply go to a wider range of facilities, they're not actually earmarked for abortion.
 
No. he is returning federal funding to organizations that help women with family planning (birth control), so they wont need to have an abortion, and providing health care to women. Doesnt sound so bad to me.p.s. why do you think the abortion rate drops when a democrat is in the whitehouse? it's because they provide this funding to family planning services.
 
No, we will be supporting public health programs in developing countries which include access to contraception--something which the Bush Administration blocked in order to appease evangelical supporters. Get your facts straight. People want and need contraception, regardless of what their church or their government tells them about it. When you consider that overpopulation and consequent maldistribution of resources are at the root of most of the world's strife, it seems pretty logical to me.

Yes, it's true. It was a featured story on the Yahoo homepage earlier. Clinton funded it too, Bush did not. Reagan did not. I am understanding it the same as you are. From what I read on Yahoo News, it states that the reverse ban will take Tax Payers' money to pay for INTERNATIONAL Abortions. So, I guess from that, yes we are paying for abortions, period, in the US and around the world.

Thats the way I understand it...Sad isn't it? How is this going to help the economy in ANY way shape or form?! shouldn't those tax dollars go back to help our country and our troops?! Obama really has no idea what he is doing.
 
When you cut through all the crud and quit beating around the bush YES. We will be paying for homeland and foreign killings of babies. Yes Obama seemed to be in a hurry to order this reversal of policy. I wonder why? He could have made stipulations. But then you'd have every liberal wanting No Stipulations. "abortion on demand and all that jazz" Anyway it's only going to get worse. I have a friend who was raped and kept her baby and raised her. Her and her daughter are so close and they are all they have in the world. No other family. It isn't;t the daughters fault that her biological father is a rapist. She is beautiful and intelligent and has three beautiful kids of her own now. So abortion isn't the obvious answer in any situation.Kids are not products of genetics only. They are also products of their upbringing. Love them unconditionally and teach then to be strong and love God and their fellow man and watch them prosper.

Yes. Whether directly or indirectly makes no difference.Our tax money will be used to murder the unborn one way or another making all taxpayers unwilling accomplices to infanticide - now on a global scale. Notice how this is one of the first things he did? Nice to know he has priorities. I knew this was coming and said so many times here on Yahoo before he was elected.
 
Obama is evil and I have known this from day one, so nothing he does suprises me. The more evil the deed the less I am surprised
