Bobby, given your question about the Vietnam Vet you claim punched you out, this question proves something serious.
If you are a member of a religious denomination that officially denounces war and the killing that goes with it, apply for conscientious objector status. If your denomination won't back you, then you and they are just noisemakers, like that gong banging loudly but signifying nothing.

I hope so. We are called to abide by the laws of our nation, providing they don't counter the will of God.
God specifically gives permission to sovereign nations to declare war, exact capital punishment etc.
Therefore, to dodge the draft not only is against the law but a sin as well.

God, I hope not.
aint there a thing in your bible about rendering unto ceasar that generally gets translated into doing what the law tells you to. and my resident jesus person says theres one that specifically says follow the laws of the land. so. (manical laughter from jason) if you deliberately break the law which says you should come and serve you country then you are committing a sin. and i just about guarantee your one of those christians who sees that (sin) as a straight shot to hell.
