Jesus did not goto war when he came under attack.

I'm a Christian and I believe that if a war is justifiable then it's ok to fight. David fought in battle and Jesus was an ancestor of his house.

No, you are not alone. It is just convenient to overlook the peaceful side of Jesus's life. I find it hard to understand how people, who say they are Christian, can turn a blind eye to the teachings of Christ.
