...camp this summer...? My best friend (we'll call her K) and I have roomed together since we met in 8th grade and we looked forward to doing it again this year. We talked about it and planned around it not long ago, and now she's suddenly changed her mind.
'K' smokes occasionally, and she befriended a girl (K) that smokes regularly... and I'm not talking about cigarettes. We eventually started talking and hanging out less and less (not because of the smoking, but because we have no classes together), and I was excited about camp because that's when we usually 'reunite.'
Well, there was a meeting yesterday and another girl asked me if I would be her roommate, but I told her 'K' and I were already roommates. The awkward "oh..." she replied with compelled me to ask 'K' about it. She said she decided to room with 'C' instead.
This has really hurt me.
I feel betrayed... like I was just tossed aside without a second thought.
I would've never done this to anybody, especially not her.
So, my questions is:
Am I right to be angry at her? I'm not really showing it, but I'm just really frustrated.
I would just 'talk to her,' but she would take it the wrong way no matter how I presented it to her..
I just need some outside opinions, so thanks!
Oh, and I'm sorry this is so long. :/
