am i riding my bike long enough?

i just bought a stationary recumbent bike. ive rode it 4 times Saturday. i was on it for 20 min and rode 3 miles. Sunday i rode for 4.5 miles Monday i rode 2 times 5 miles in the morning and 3 in the afternoon today i rode for 30 min and did 6. 5 miles iave 10 to 12 mph for the time im on it is this enough to lose some weight if i ride everyday if not any tips will be helpful
 
Hey, any amount of time is good.
Just a little bit each day helps and will I don't know the exact numbers of what you're doing, I'm sure that your body is lovin' it. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll see the effects as long as you're holding up the diet end of that as well -eating healthy and drinking plenty of water.
