Okay, so I have been told several times it is illegal to ride your bicycle on the sidewalk. My question is first off, WHY?! Secondly, why do people have such a smarmy attitude when telling me like its the most dangerous and criminal thing to ride it on the sidewalk. I have been talked to by several people like I am literally retarded for not knowing this law, like it was common sense. To me it seems like it would be more dangerous for a bicycle especially a slow one like the one I have to be in the road! I dont know about other places but noone uses sidewalks in jacksonville and every sidewalk I have riddien my bike on, I have passed maybe one pedestrian. I bet at least 4 smarmy people answer this.
Am I retarded or is riding your bike something that should be legal?
