Am I missing some fairing from my Yamaha?

I've got a thundercat, and I know theres a few people on here with the same bike, but anyway, yesterday, a friend said I was missing the fairing that should go just under the front face of it, to hide the radiator or air box, I assume it joins up to the 'V' fairing behind the front wheel and around the forks.

if you have a thundercat, do you have fairing there? cos I'm starting to think I bought a bike with many problems...
from the front of the bike standing, you'd not see the part of fairing I'm on about...

The bike should be fully faired: An upper section & a lower section (with a 'V' profile behind the front wheel as you said) joined by a pair of side panels;

Ther's no bit infront of the radiator (ie directly behind and above the front wheel)

If you're in the uk there are two on ebay at the minute in blue. If not the piece you're looking for is called an inspection panel or front middle inner panel.

There are ways to dress up a radiator. But if you "hide" it completely it's not going to ... radiate much, is it? Motorcycle engines are not into overheating - all that lovely high-grade aluminium starts to buckle.
