Hello, I'm a 32 year old woman and I've just found out that I am 8 weeks pregnant. My partner and I have been together for just over a year and this news has sent us both into shock as we were not trying to get pregnant. We are not married and we don't live together. He is unsure of what he wants, some days he says we should keep it and on others he tells me to terminate. With hormones racing through my body, these mixed messages are really confusing me, not to mention causing a few tears. But I've made a decision, I want to keep this baby. My question is, are there any single mums out there that managed their career, maternity leave, raising the baby and going back to work successfully? I know it will be a struggle but I can't bear the thought of a termination. I have no family in Australia but will continue to live here. Needless to say, family support is thin on the ground. Please share your stories, I need a little bit of inspiration.
